Jean E. (Macey) Williams 74 years, of West Bridgewater died Wednesday June 17, 2009 at the Good Samaritan Medical Center after a brief illness. She was born in Brockton a daughter of the late Viola (May) Macey and had been a resident of Abington for most of her life. For the past 15 years Jean had made her home in West Bridgewater.
Jean was a homemaker who enjoyed gardening and animals. She had also been the caregiver to her mother and other family members. She especially enjoyed cooking, dancing and family events. She was the mother of the late William Cobis and sister of Betty Freitas and her husband William of West Bridgewater. She also leaves her nieces Joanne Burbank and her husband James of Attleboro, Kristine Roberts and her husband Allen of West Bridgewater, several grand nieces and nephews and her former husband George “Dick” Williams of Harmony, ME.
Funeral Service in the Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont St. (Rte 123) Brockton Tuesday at 11 am. Burial in Calvary Cemetery. Visiting hours Monday 5-8 pm.
