Della E. Ernspiker , 87 of Jeffersontown passed away on June 15, 2009 at Baptist East Hospital.
She was born in Henry County, KY, a hairdresser and shop owner of Della’s Beauty Salon and a member of Hopewell Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by he husband, Roy K. Ernspiker, daughter-in-law, Jan Ernspiker and grandson, Dave Ernspiker.
She is survived by her daughter, Linda Hatter (Carl), sons, Edward Ernspiker and Daniel Ray Ernspiker (Dee); six grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren .
The family would like to give a special thanks to the staff at The Forum at Brookside and four loving nieces who were always there for her.
Funeral service will be Thursday, 1:00 p.m. at her church, 4305 Hopewell Road with burial in Hopewell Cemetery.
Visitation Wednesday, 2-8 p.m. at Owen Funeral Home - Jeffersontown, 9318 Taylorsville Rd and Thursday, 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. at her church.
