Popp, Stephen, 82, passed away June 13, 2009 at Springhurst Pines Nursing and Rehab.
He served in the Army in WWII.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Violet Brooks Popp. Survivors include his sons, Jim W. Popp (Julia), and Stephen Clark Popp (Penny); grandchildren, Emily, Katie, Andrew, Lauren, and Adam; great grandson, Owen; brother, Frank Popp; sister, Helen Labosky, and adoring nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be 12pm Friday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens, West.
Visitation will be Thursday 2-8 at the funeral home.
Expressions of sympathy can be made to the local Alzheimer's Association.
