Robert Payne “Bob” Jenkins, 76, of North Charleston, husband of Connie Gore Jenkins died Monday, June 15, 2009 at his residence.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday, June 17, 2009 at 2 o’clock at Summerville Presbyterian Church. Burial will be private.

Bob was born October 12, 1932 in Leonardtown, Maryland, son of the late Michael Courtney Jenkins and Ernestine Payne Jenkins. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He was a graduate of Bullis Prep High School and American University of Washington, DC. He enjoyed golf, boating, fishing and taking care of his home, grandchildren and children. He retired from Millville Quarry & EC Construction Company as vice president. He was a member of Summerville Presbyterian Church.

Son: Robert P. “Robb” Jenkins, Jr.
Daughter: Dana Lynn Jenkins and her husband Von
Grandchildren: Jaymes “Jay” Jenkins, Brent Jenkins, Kacy Jenkins Blake Jenkins and Bryson Jenkins.
Sister: Nellie Jenkins Combs
He was predeceased by his brother: Michael Jenkins
