Mrs. Rose F. (Bertuccini) Magazzu, age 93, died Saturday July 19, at the Lawrence Memorial Hospital of Medford after a brief illness. Born in the West End of Boston she was the daughter of the late Paula (Campanella) and Antonio Bertuccini.
Rose worked as a seamstress at Silin and Co. in Boston for many years before retiring in 1970. She has been a Medford resident since 1957, formerly of the West End of Boston.
Rose is the wife of the late Antonio Bertuccini. Beloved mother of Pauline Zielinski of Medford. Loving sister of the late Steve Bertuccini, Josephine Itrato, Carmela Spinale, Mary Insigna, Concetta Bertuccini, and Anna Bertuccini. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, Wednesday at 8 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Joseph Church, 118 High St., Medford at 9 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Tuesday 4 thru 8. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
