Obituary

Andre L. “Jules” Julien, 67, of Manchester, died July 19, 2003, at his residence.

Born in Manchester, April 2, 1936, he was the son of Alfred L. and Lafayette (Dion) Julien. He was educated in the local school system and graduated from Central High School in 1954.

He retired in 1991 after working 37 years as a National Guard Technician at Grenier Field, Pease Air Force Base, and Concord.

He was a Senior Master Sargent in the Air Force and served on active duty during the Berlin Crisis.

Mr. Julien was a communicant of St. Augustin Church and a member of the League of 1000 Men of the Precious Blood Monastery.

He was an avid Boston Celtics fan.

Family members include a brother, Gerard A. Julien of La Mirada, Ca; a sister, Mrs. Armand (Pauline) Major of Manchester; nieces and nephews.

Calling hours are Tuesday from 7 to 9 pm in the Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., corner of North St.

A mass of Christian burial was celebrated Wednesday July 23, 2003 in St. Augustin Church. Burial followed in St. Augustin Cemetery.
