George E. Kirkpatrick, of Plymouth passed away on June 12th at the age of 89 at Life Care Center. He was the husband of the late Esther (White) Kirkpatrick and the loving father of George E Kirkpatrick Jr. of Taunton and Sharon Lee of Plymouth. Mr. Kirkpatrick was born on December 28, 1919 in Plymouth and was a life long resident. George served his country proudly as a United States Marine and was employed as a Lithographer for 20 years by the Brockton Enterprise. Mr. Kirkpatrick also was a restaurant manager of 1620 in Plymouth. He enjoyed his family and an active life, which included memberships with the Plymouth Elks Club and the Cold Spring Club, while being active with Duxbury High School. In addition to his son and daughter; George is also survived by 3 grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews. Family invites relatives and friends to pay their respects on Tuesday June 16th from 4 to 7 PM at the Richard Davis Funeral Home, 373 Court (Rt 3A), N. Plymouth. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday June 17th at 10 AM at the Funeral Home followed by burial at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Plymouth.
