Mary H. Walsh, 75, of Chestnut Hill Road, Chepachet, died Thursday, June 11, 2009 at Miriam Hospital.
Born in Bronx, NY, she was a daughter of the late Hugh and Agnes (Walsh) McCabe, she had been a longtime Pawtucket resident before moving to Chepachet.
She had been a clerk at the Rhode Island Division of Motor Vehicles before retiring in 1999. She was a parishioner at St. Eugene's Church and a very active Chepachet senior.
She is survived by her children Daniel and Michael Gingras, Kathleen Gagnon, Patricia Fonseca and Kevin Santurri, her sons and daughters in law, Claire Desrosiers, Andrea Gingras, Stephen Gagnon, John Fonseca and Heather Santurri, fifteen grandchildren; Kaitlyn, Brigid, J.D., Andrew, Emma, Liam, Olivia, Kaden, Sarah, Emily, Jacob, Zachary, Eliza, Mary, Ruth, five great grandchildren; Hannah, Ava, Lily, Jackson, Gabriel, , a sister Josephine Weber and a brother Hugh “Sonny” McCabe. She was the sister of the late Theresa and Dorothy McCabe.
Funeral service Thursday at 6pm in the ANDERSON-WINFIELD Funeral Home, Route 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. Visitation Thursday 4-6pm.
