Jeannine C. (LaCouture) Krikorian, 79 years of Brockton died June 11, 2009 surrounded by her family following a courageous battle with cancer. She was the beloved wife of the late John Krikorian for 44 years. Jeannine was born and raised in Brockton the daughter of the late Narcisse and Leontine (Lanouette) LaCouture and attended area schools. She was the secretary of the late Dr. Gardener Bassett for 11 years, worked in real estate and for RGIS inventory services.
Jeannine had a joie de vie; she loved to sing and dance. She treasured spending time with her children, niece, nephews and friends. She also loved the beach, traveling abroad, fashion, design, classical music, good food and a nice glass of wine or scotch. She had been a very active volunteer for the Brockton Symphony Orchestra for many years. She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Brockton.
Jeannine is survived by her loving children, John Krikorian, Jr. and his wife Suzanne (Burden) of Brockton, Glenn E. Krikorian of Brockton; and LeeAnn (Krikorian) Clifton and her husband David of Antelope, CA; a niece Michelle MacArthur and her husband Steven, two nephews Raymond LaCouture and his wife Janet, Michael LaCouture and his wife Tina; sister-in-law, Theresa LaCouture wife of her late brother Raymond P. LaCouture, lifelong dear friends Geneva Smith, Phyllis Vanderstreet, Joanne Dimarzo, Snookie Petti, Maureen Campbell and several grand nieces and nephews. Jeannine’s sense of humor, loyalty, community pride and exemplary generosity will be sadly missed by many loyal friends, and a grieving family.
Funeral from the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street(Rte 123)Brockton Tuesday at 8am. Funeral Mass in Our Lady of Lourdes Church at 9am. Burial in Melrose Cemetery. Visiting hours Monday 2-4 & 6-8pm
