Obituary

WORCESTER-Stephen M. O’Day, 70, passed away peacefully Wednesday, June 10.

He leaves his two children, Stephen L. O’Day and Christine O’Day; two brothers, William O’Day and Francis O’Day; his sister, Denise Barber; three grandchildren, Ryan, Cierra, Keith and Stephen O’Day, nieces and nephews. His daughter, Cherise M. O’Day and his brother, Brian O’Day predeceased him.

He was born in Worcester the son of William and Alice (Carey) O’Day. Mr. O’Day served with the U.S. Marine Corp. during the Korean War. He was a member of the Local Teamsters #170 and was a truck driver for many years before retiring. He was a member of the Vernon Hill American Legion Post #435.

Visiting hours will be held Wednesday, June 17 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM with a Memorial Service at 7:30 PM in CALLAHAN & FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 61 Myrtle St. Burial will be private.
