Eva P. Couture 91, of 610 Smithfield Rd., died Sunday in Hopkins Manor. She was the wife of the late Joseph "Ray" A. Couture. Mrs. Couture was born in Woonsocket, a daughter of the late Omer and Alice (St. Laurent) Petrin. She was a lab technician for the former French Worsted Co,. for 30 years and over 12 years for Premier Thread before retiring.
Mrs. Couture is survived by a daughter, Jacqueline Marchetti and her husband Charles, of Bristol, a sister Agnes Rivard of Blackstone, MA, a granddaughter Gina Marchetti, and two great grand children Charles and Ariya. She was also the sister of the late Omer, Albert, and Leo Petrin, Rose Tellier, Lillian Boissy, Cecilia Valliere, Cecile Ayotte, Blanche Oliver, and Jeanne Shea.
Her funeral will be held Friday at 10:00 AM from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 99 Cumberland St. Woonsocket, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM in St. Theresa's Church, Rathbun St., Blackstone. Burial will be held in St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery in Bellingham. Visiting hours are Thursday 5-7 PM. In lieu of flowers donations to Hasbro Children's Hospital P.O.
