Lucille F. Vital, 56, of New Bedford died July 19, 2003 at home after a long and courageous battle with leukemia.
She was the wife of Robert J. Vital and daughter of Adele (Bonneau) Bergeron of New Bedford and the late Theophane Bergeron.
Mrs. Vital was born in New Bedford and lived in New Bedford all of her life.
She was a communicant of St. James Church.
Mrs. Vital was formerly employed by New England Telephone for 30 years until her retirement.
She enjoyed spending time with her family.
Survivors include her husband; her mother; a son, Ryan J. Vital of Boston; a daughter, Lori-Ann Plourde, and her husband Thomas, of Westport; 3 brothers, William Bergeron and Armand Bergeron, both of Sarasota, FL and Paul Bergeron of Fall River; several nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late Eugene Bergeron.
