Gloria M. (Spolaor) Jacobs of Andover, died at the Wingate Nursing Center in Andover, surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, June 3, 2009. She was 82 years old.
Born in New York City on May 24, 1927, she was the beloved daughter of the late Mario and Marie (Porolo) Spolaor. Gloria will be fondly remembered by her family and friends as Gaga. She will be missed by one daughter; Suzanne Clark of Lawrence, three grandchildren; Lisa Prescott Lee and her husband, Geon of Andover, Jennifer Howard of North Andover, Stephanie Machado and her husband, Carlos of Bradford and four great-grandchildren; Caitlin, Andrew, Katherine and Alexander. She was predeceased by her longtime companion, Charles Muller.
