Jesup- Harold James “Hot Rod” Sutton, age 16, passed away Monday, June 8, 2009 at Liberty Regional Medical Center in Hinesville. He was a native and lifelong resident of Wayne County. He was a member of the Fellowship Baptist Church Sunday School and Youth Group. Harold enjoyed his church family and friends and racing. He had a zeal for life and loved the Lord.
He is survived by his parents: Hank and Tina Sutton of Jesup; brother: Michael Sutton of Jesup, and Skeeter Sutton; grandmother: Patricia Fore of Jesup; grandfather: Danny Fore of Jesup and several aunts, uncles and cousins also survive.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 11, 2009 at 10:00 am from the Fellowship Baptist Church with Reverend Charles Manning, Brother David Bohannon and Brother Danny Daniels officiating. Interment will follow in the Pinecrest Memorial Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6 until 8 pm at the funeral home.
Active Pallbearers will be James Reid, Matthew Reid, Josh Ball, Jacob Ball, Mynam Vuong, and Caleb Lane.
Honorary Pallbearers will be the Men and Women’s Adult Sunday School Class of Fellowship Baptist Church.
Memorial contribution may be made to the Bluffton Fire Department, in care of, The Harold Sutton Camp Fund, 357 Fording Island Rd., Bluffton SC 29910.
