WORCESTER-Gam V. Nguyen, 70, of Worcester, died Tuesday, June 9th in St. Vincent Hospital. He leaves his wife of 44 years, Thoa Nguyen; three sons, Phuong Nguyen and his wife Dung of Toronto, Canada, Hai Nguyen and his wife Lisa Huynh of Worcester and Tuan Nguyen of Worcester; his sister, Nguyen Nguyen of Texas; and four grandchildren, Alicia, Joseph, Peter, and Natalie Nguyen.
Mr. Nguyen was born in Vietnam, the son of Linh Nguyen and Huong Pham. He was an assembler for the TJ Maxx Corporation. Mr. Nguyen was a member of Our Lady of Vilna Church and was its choir director from 1985-2005. He was a talented musician and a great cook.
The funeral is Saturday, June 13th from O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue with a Mass at 10:00 AM in Our Lady of Vilna Church, 151 Sterling Street. Burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery. Calling hours are Friday, June 12th from 4:00 until 8:00 PM in the funeral home.
