Whelan, Florence K.(Sparks), of Marshfield, June 8, at the age of 97. Beloved mother of Carol Schnitzlein and her late husband Donald of Marshfield, Kenneth Whelan and his wife Kathleen of Duxbury, Irene Mondello and her husband Louis of Cambridge and the late baby Frederick Whelan. Loving grandmother of 8 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Florence was born in Newfoundland, Canada. She was employed for many years as a packer for Ward’s Bakery Co.
Funeral from the MacDonald Funeral Home, l755 Ocean St.,rte.l39, Marshfield, Friday at 8 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Christine’s Church, l295 Main St., rte. 3A, Marshfield at 9 a.m.
Visiting hours Thursday from 4 to 8 pm
Interment will be in the Cambridge Catholic Cemetery, Cambridge, MA.
