Phillips, John K. “Johnny”, 75, of Louisville, passed away Wednesday, June 3, 2009 at Sts. Mary and Elizabeth Hospital.
He worked for Frito-Lay in sales and was, a member of St. Paul’s Catholic Church, a Eucharist minister at church, a secular Franciscan, volunteer at Sts. Mary and Elizabeth Hospital, and a former member of the Wheelman Club. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.
Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Marie (Nash) Phillips; children, Sande Reed and Debbie Peace(Mike); grandchildren, Dana, Amanda, Nicholas, Noah, and Alexis; and sister, Ruth Peterson.
Funeral mass will be 11am Saturday at St. Paul’s Catholic Church with burial in St. Andrews cemetery.
Visitation will be Friday 1-8pm at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway. A brief prayer will be said prior to going to church.
