Mary C. Jacobs, 80, passed away at the Prescott House in North Andover on May 31st, 2009. She was born in Malden on August 9th, 1928 to her parents Thomas and Agnes (Lacey) Macauley. Mary has been a life long resident of Malden and is a graduate of Malden High School. For many years she worked as a clerk at the Royal Globe Insurance Company in Boston. First and foremost she was a homemaker who cared for her family throughout the years. Mary has been a parishioner at Immaculate Conception Church and the former St. Peters Church in Malden her entire life. She is survived by her children, Clifford Thomas Jacobs, MFD and his wife Kathleen of Rowley, Susan Fasoulas and her husband James of Georgia and Laurie Leather and her husband George of Florida; by her grandchildren Jennifer Jacobs and Tara Leather; and by her great grandson Zachary. Along with her parents, Mary was predeceased by her husband Robert E. Jacobs; by her granddaughter Alicia Leather; and by her sister Frances A. McInnis. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend her funeral from the Breslin Funeral Home, 610 Pleasant St., Malden on Wednesday June 3rd at 8 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at Immaculate Conception Church, 600 Pleasant St., Malden at 9 AM. Services will conclude with entombment in Holy Cross Mausoleum in Malden. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday June 2nd from 4-8 PM.
