Thompson,Ct., Frank J.Adamuska 82, of 193 Sand Dam Rd.,passed away Friday,May 22,2009 at Day Kimball Hospital in Putnam.He leaves his wife of 35 years,Barbara M.(Bromley)Adamuska,his children,David Adamuska of Lisbon,N.H.,Debbie Butts of S.Hero,Vt.,Donna Mohoney of Putnam,Ct.,Dean Adamuska of Woodstock,Ct.,a step-son,Russell Reynolds and his wife Debbie of Eastford,Ct.,12 grandchildren,6 great grandchildren,2 sisters,Anna and Mary Adamuska of Wilsonville,Ct.,3 brothers,Bill Adamuska of Dudley,John Adamuska of Wilsonville, and Stephen Adamuska of Webster and several nieces and nephews.He was predeceased by 2 brothers,Andrew and Martin Adamuska. Frank was born in Wilsonville,Ct.,son of Andrew and Sophia (Vajcovec)Adamuska and has lived in the Thompson Area most of his life.He was a WWII Navy Veteran. Frank worked as a mechanic for 45 years at the former Bayer Motors in Dudley,MA.,and retired 20 years ago.He was one of the founding members of the East Thompson Fire Dept.,and a former member of the Thompson Rod & Gun Club.He enjoyed hunting,gardening and tinkering around his home and especially enjoyed watching the Red Sox and the U.Conn Girls Basketball Team.Calling hours for Frank will Be Tuesday,May 26,2009 from 5 to 8 P.M. at the Robert J.Miller Funeral Home and Lake Chapel,366 School St.,Webster,MA.Graveside services will be private and at the convenience of the family.In lieu of flowers,memorial contributions may be made to:The American Lung Association,25 Spring St.,Walpole,MA.02081 or The American Heart Assoc.,20 Speen St.,Framingham,MA. 01701.
