Caroline T. (Govoni) Franciosi 92 years, of Framingham, formerly of Brockton, died Monday June 1, 2009 at St. Patrick’s Manor in Framingham. She had been the loving wife of the late Adolph Franciosi for 64 years. Caroline was born and raised in Plymouth a daughter of the late Augusto and Adelina (Paoli) Govoni and had been a resident of Brockton for all her married life.
Mrs. Franciosi had worked in the coffee shops at the Superior and District Court Houses in Brockton. Most importantly, she was primarily a homemaker devoted to her family and home of which her children and grandchildren were her greatest joy.
She is survived by three sons Ronald Franciosi of Pembroke; David Franciosi of Easton; Kevin Franciosi of Southborough and the late Richard Franciosi and 7 grandchildren Dana, Barry, Darren, Matthew, Rachel, Alexandra, and Avery Franciosi. She was the sister of Frank Govoni of Plymouth and the late Joseph, Alvira, Caesar, and George Govoni,Clementine Sickoll and Louise Franciosi.
Visiting hours in the Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont St. (Rte 123) Brockton Wednesday 4-7 pm. Funeral Mass in St. Patrick’s Manor Chapel 863 Central St. Framingham, MA 01701 Thursday at 9:30 am. Burial in Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton. In lieu of flowers Caroline’s family encourages donations be made in her name to St. Patrick’s Manor.
