Andy Fleming, 50, Clarksville, died Sunday, May 31, 2009, at his residence. The funeral will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday at Neal-Tarpley Funeral Home with Rev. Larry King and Rev. Jim Rich officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 3:00 - 7:00 p.m. Wednesday and from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service Thursday at the funeral home. Neal-Tarpley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Andy was born April 19, 1959 in Montgomery County and was the son of Elmer Haynes Fleming, Sr. and the late Mildred Powers Fleming. Andy was a very devoted husband, father and grandfather and was the Owner of Fleming Transfer and Storage. He was a Elder and Sunday School teacher at The Father's House Church. Andy was an avid Fisherman, Farmer, and Beef Master in the Beef Master Program. As a fisherman he was a member of the Clarksville Bass Club and fished on the FLW tour. Survivors include his wife Melody Buck Fleming of Clarksville. One son, Kyle Andrew Fleming of Clarksville. Three daughters, Amber (Jared) Worley of Clarksville, Megan (Allen) Pendarvis of Clarksville and Grace Fleming of Clarksville. Three brothers, Elmer Haynes Fleming, Jr. (Jill) of Evansville, TN. Mike Fleming of Millington,TN and David Carr Fleming (Cathy) of Smyrna, TN. Four sisters; Jo Fleming Byrd (Larry) of Bowling Green, KY. Donna Swaffer (Ed) of Clarksville, Vicki Freeeman (Doug) of Knox ville, TN and Kelly Brown of Irvin, PA. One grandchild; Emma Grace Worley of Clarksville. Pallbearers will be Zack Henard, Mark Sessions, Hank Fleming, Jay Buck, Adam Fleming, Jeff Henry, Greg Price and Carl Robertson. Honorary Pallbearers are employees of Fleming Transfer and Storage.
