Ruth Mai Weatherford, 82, Cumberland Furnace, died Sunday, May 31, 2009, at her residence.
The funeral will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at Neal-Tarpley Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Oliver officiating.
Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 4:00- 7:00 p.m. Tuesday and from 11:00 a.m. until the hour service Wednesday at the funeral home.
Neal-Tarpley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
She was born October 25, 1926 in Clarksville. She was the daughter of Melvin Jackson and Lester (MoMo) Ransdall Jackson both preceeded.
She was a retired R.N. and the Assistanct Director of Nursing at Memorial Hospital. She was a member of Olivet Freewill Baptist Church and the Women's Auxillary.
She was proceeded in death by two brothers, Melvin Jackson, Jr. and Thomas Jackson. She is survived by three sisers-in-law; Jody (Roy) Kolbe of Cumberland Furnace, Maria (Bob) Jackson Taggart of Port Royal and Weader Jackson of Nashville. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be David Jackson, Larry Jackson, Scott Jackson, Johnny Jackson, Roy Kolbe, Rick Kolbe, Carter Jackson and Patrick Jackson.
