Obituary

Mrs. Pamela Tango, 63 of Medford died Thursday in the Brigham & Women's Hospital in Boston. She was the beloved wife of Ronald M. Tango with whom she spent more than 37 years of marriage. Mrs. Tango was born and educated in England, the daughter of the late Walter and Margaret (Rayworth) Eaton. She came to the United States at the age of 29 and settled in Somerville. She has been a Medford resident since 1982. She was a Cashier, employed by Shaw Supermarkets in Medford for over 15 years, retiring in 2008. She loved to cook, read and travel and enjoyed working in the garden. She got her greatest satisfaction out of spending time with her beloved grandchildren who affectionately called her “Nana” She will be remembered as a kind and gentle woman with a big heart and an unwaivering desire to help anyone in need. She is survived by one daughter: Michelle Tango of Woburn and her companion Jeffrey, four sons: Ronald M. Tango Jr. and his wife Sharon of Hudson, Nicholas Tango and his wife Audra of Lowell, John Tango and his wife Joanne of CA, Steven Tango and his wife Lisa of Medford. Beloved Nana of 5 Grandchildren. Friends may call Wednesday from 4 thru 8 at Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford. Her funeral service will be held in the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, Thursday at 10:30 am. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Burial in Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
