Leslie B. Morash, 78, of Wynridge Rd., Windham, NH, died Friday, July 11, 2003, at the Mariner Healthcare in Methuen, MA. He was born on June 16, 1925 in Medford, MA a son of the late William and Sadie B. (Meisner) Morash. He was a resident of Windham for the past 19 years, formerly living in Stoneham, MA for 25 years and Methuen, MA. He grew up in Medford. Mr. Morash was a graduate of Boston University, Class of 1948 and received his Masters degree in 1950. He was a professor at Northeastern University College for over 25 years. He was the owner of Service Warehouse. He was a member of the American Warehousemen Assoc., the American Truckers, the NE Transportation Security Council and was the past president of the National Council of Physical Distribution Management. He was also a member of the Masonic Lodge of Medford, MA Royal Arch Chapter.
He is survived by his wife, Marilyn O. (Vezzani) Morash of Windham, three daughters, Linda Kirk of Andover, MA, Barbara Morash of Stoneham, MA, Anita Savinelli of Holliston, MA, one son, Leslie Morash Jr. Of Andover, MA, three step daughters, Beverly Mundahl of Keene, NH, Barbara Griffith of Newburyport, MA, Donna Devlin of Haverhill, MA, one step son, Roger Breton of Westford, MA, and 11 grandchildren. He was formerly married to Ruth E. Morash.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 15th at 1:30pm at the Windham Presbyterian Church, corner of Lowell Rd. and Church St., Windham. The burial will follow in the Cemetery on the Plain in Windham. Friends may call at the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry, NH on Monday from 4 - 8pm.
