Antonetta Zelante, a sixty year resident of Medford died at her home on Wednesday evening after a lengthy illness. The wife of the late Antonio she was ninety-four years old.
Born in Italy she was the daughter of the late Anna (Troisi) and Louis Todisco. Antonetta came to this country at the age of fourteen and settled in the North End of Boston with her family. She learned to sew at a early age and later became a stitcher working for the most time from her home.
She is predeceased by her sister and brother Marietta Calabrese and Orlando Todisco. She was the loving aunt of Beverly, Paul and George Calabrese, Lana, Ronald and David Todisco and the late Richard Todisco.
Her funeral will be held from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St. Medford, on Monday, July 14, at 9 a.m., followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Clement Church, 71 Warner St. Somerville/Medford at 10. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
