WORCESTER-Helen (Arakilian) Kelleher, 88, of 123 Maywood Street died July 10th in University of Massachusetts Healthcare/Memorial Campus after an illness. She leaves a son, James F. Kelleher of Worcester; a daughter, Carol A. Grehoski of Sutton; a brother, Kirkor “Little George” Hachicgian of Stelton, PA; 4 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; several nephews and nieces. A son, John J. Kelleher, a daughter, Mary A. Massey, a brother, “Big” George Hachigian and a sister, Mary Hachigian predeceased her.
She was born in Kenosha, Wisconsin the daughter of Kochek and Florence (Kibgian) Arakilian. Mrs. Kelleher worked as a home health aide for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts for many years until retiring in the 1970’s. She was active in senior activities.
The funeral will be Monday, July 14th from O’Connor Brothers Funeral Home, 592 Park Avenue with a Mass at 10:00 AM in St. Andrew the Apostle Church, 5 Spaulding Street. Burial will be in Hope Cemetery. Calling hours are Sunday, July 13th from 7:00 until 9:00 PM in the funeral home.
