Randall Lamar Nichols, 69, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Wednesday, May 20 at his residence.
Funeral services will be held 11 A.M. Friday, May 22 at Wray Holiness Baptist Church with Rev. Steve Willingham and Rev. Bubba Smith officiating. Interment will follow in Wray Cemetery. The family will receive friends 7-9 Thursday evening at the funeral home.
Mr. Nichols was born October 8, 1939 to the late Harvey and Lenora Harper Nichols. He lived in the community since 1984 from Orlando, Florida, where he worked as a machinist for Owens-Illinois. He was a former employee of Elixir Industries and attended Wray Holiness Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Vivian Smith Nichols of Fitzgerald; children, Randal M. (Diane) Edwards of Rogers, AR, Cheryl (Randy) Hippensteel of Fitzgerald, Vickie (Andy) Smith of Wray and Jamie (April) Nichols of Fitzgerald; 11 grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother.
