WISE, LAWRENCE RICHARD "RICK," 40, passed away Monday, May 18, 2009 at his home.
He was a graduate of the University of Louisville Business School, an entrepreneur, a real estate investor and an investment counselor. He was a member of Metropolitan Community Church of Louisville. Rick enjoyed traveling and was an avid art and coin collector. He was a beloved son, a devoted grandson, loving brother, and an enthusiastic uncle. He was loved for his unique, humorous personality and wit. Rick was preceded in death by his grandmother, Beulah Marie Horn.
He is survived by his mother, Betty J. Deisenroth (Jim); father, Larry Wise; sister, Karen L. Klain (Scott); nephew, Tyler; niece, Kaitlyn; uncles, aunts, cousins; and life long friends who were his extended family.
Funeral service will be 7 p.m. Friday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway.
Visitation is 6-9 p.m. Thursday and after noon until the service time Friday.
Burial will be private.
