Obituary

Bernice E. "Susie" (Hardy) Fuller, 81, of New Bedford died May 19, 2009 at Sacred Heart Nursing Home after a long illness.
She was the wife of Alvan T. Fuller.
Born in New Bedford, the daughter of the late Howard and Ruth (Dickson) Hardy, she lived in New Bedford for all of her life.
Mrs. Fuller was a communicant of St. Lawrence Church.
She was formerly employed as a secretary at Morse Cutting Tools for many years until its closing. She had also been employed as secretary at Anderson-Little for several years until her retirement.
Mrs. Fuller was a member of American Legion Post One Ladies Auxiliary.
Survivors include her husband; 2 sons, Gordon T. Fuller of Grand Forks, North Dakota, and Scott A. Fuller, and his wife Robin, of Dartmouth; 2 sisters, Jeanne Jordan of Ohio, and Carol Domingos of New Bedford; 4 grandchildren, Jaime, Renee, Zachary and Quinn; 5 great-grandchildren, Anthony, Nathaniel, Austin, Deryk-Rylee and Carly; several nieces and nephews.
She was the sister of the late Gordon Hardy and Earl Hardy.
Funeral from the Saunders-Dwyer Home For Funerals, 495 Park St. New Bedford Saturday, May 23rd at 8 AM. Funeral Mass in St. Lawrence Church at 9 AM. Burial will follow in Rural Cemetery. Visiting hours Friday, May 22nd from 4-8 PM. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 311 Arsenal St., Watertown, MA 02472.
