Ana Evora Facada, 77, of New Bedford died Tuesday May 19, 2009.
Born in Brava, Cape Verde, the daughter of the late Manuel and Carlotta (Lima) Facada, she lived in New Bedford for most of her life.
Survivors include her daughter, Carlotta Evora of New Bedford; her lifelong partner, Joao Joaquim DaCosta of New Bedford; four brothers, Manuel, John, Luis, and Edgar Facada, all of Boston; three grandchildren, Briana, Brittany, and Weecho; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was the sister of the late Joana DeBurgo, Alice Vieira, Maria, Francisco, and Jose Facada.
Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday at 10 AM at Our Lady of the Assumption Church. Burial will follow in St. John's Cemetery.
