AUGUSTA-Mr. William Howard Jenkins, 62, entered into rest on Sunday, May 17, 2009 at University Hospital.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 20, 2009 at 1:30 pm at West Acres Baptist Church with the Rev. Denny Mack officiating. Burial will follow at 4:00pm at the Wrens Memorial Cemetery.
Mr. Jenkins was the former owner of Howard’s Welding Supply Company. He was a member of West Acres Baptist Church.
He is survived by his son, William Howard Jenkins II, and his wife, Cynthia, his three brothers, Phillip Jenkins, Joe Jenkins and Maurice Jenkins, his four sisters, Betty Brady, Miriam Jenkins, Sarah Jenkins and Ann Jenkins, his two grandchildren, Ashton Jenkins and Bryce Jenkins and numerous nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his very special friend, Jackie Cook, her daughter, Mary Beth Bohler and husband, Gentry, and her grandchildren, Seth and Jackson Bohler.
Pallbearers will be Billy Norton, Tommy Matthews, John Bounds, Gentry Bohler, and Cecil Floyd. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Love Sunday school class, and the McDonald’s breakfast group.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday evening, May 19, 2009 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm.
