Mary E. Manfra, passed away suddenly Wednesday evening at the Lawrence Memorial Hospital of Medford the wife of George M. Manfra she was seventy years old.
Born in Lewiston, Maine she was the daughter of the late Katherine (Ricker) and Alexander Bauman. She has lived in Medford since she and George were married over forty-seven years ago. She devoted herself to raising her family and being a super mom.As a young lady she enjoyed acting in the youth community theater.
In addition to her husband George she is survived by her son Michael G. Manfra of Arlington, two daughters; Marilynn K. Manfra and her husband Kenneth Dooley of Cranston, RI., and Carol M. Ryan and her husband James of Norwood, a grandson Paul Manfra-Willis of Cranston, RI., two brothers; George Bauman of Wolaston, and Michael Bauman of FL., two Sisters; Kay Willette and Bette Buchanan both of Maine. Also many loving nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will be held from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St. Medford, on Saturday, July 12 at 9 a.m., followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Francis ofAssisi Church, Fellsway West, Medford at 10. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
