Mr. Leonard Arena, 86 of Boston died Sunday in the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. Mr. Arena was born in Boston, the son of the late Ignazio and Benedetta (Venezia) Arena. In earlier years he worked in the receiving department of A & P Fish Company in South Boston for over 30 years. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed spending quality family time at home. He will be remembered as a kind and generous man. He is survived by one sister: Anna Falco of Quincy, three brothers: Salvatore Arena of Boston, , Michael Arena of Holbrook, Charles Arena of Medford and is the brother of the late Jennie DiStasio, Josephine Arena and Anthony Arena. Uncle of Charles M. Arena of Winchester. He is the loving uncle of several other nieces and nephews. At his request, visiting hours have been omitted. His Funeral mass will be held at St. Raphael Church, 512 High Street, Medford, Tuesday at 10:00 am. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
