Elida “Hilda” Faria (Motta), of Chatham formerly of New Bedford, passed away on May 13th at the age of 93 at Liberty Commons. Beloved wife of the late Ernest M. Faria, she is survived by her loving daughters Nancy Given of Plymouth and Judith Motta of Dallas, TX. She also leaves her grandchildren Paul Given Jr. of Seekonk, Mary-Beth Matrone of MD, Pamela Keep of Plymouth, Susan Goodrich of Plymouth, Michael Motta of TX and Peter Motta of OH and 12 great grandchildren. Hilda grew up in New Bedford and lived in Chatham for 8 years. She was a member of the Mt. Carmel Seniors Club in New Bedford and enjoyed knitting and crocheting. All services are private.
