Keirnan, William B.
Age 84, a resident of Hingham for over 50 years, died on May 14, 2009, at South Shore Hospital in Weymouth surrounded by his family. A World War II veteran, he served as a radar technician in the U.S. Marine Air Corps and graduated from Chicago Latin School and Yale University. He was the devoted husband of Jane (Potter) Keirnan of Hingham, beloved father of Sharon and her husband Michael DuFrane, Meredith Dunbar, and Victoria Keirnan and Dennis MacDonald; loving grandfather of Sarah, Carter, and Benjamin DuFrane and Xanthra Kolk and great-grandfather of Lucia Kolk. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. The memorial service and interment are private. Donations in his memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA, 01701.
