Loving "Papa" of Michael & Zachary Vento.
Brother of Anthony Vento of Douglas, Catherine Fornaro of Milton, Anna Graul of Whitman, Mary Lima of Plymouth and the late John & Joseph Vento.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., WOLLASTON Friday at 9 AM.
Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, N. Quincy at 10 AM.
Visiting hours Thursday 4-8 PM.
Burial in Mt. Wollaston Cemetery, Quincy.
Mr. Vento served in the U.S. Army during WWII. He worked as a barber for 55 years. For 30 of those years, he owned his own shop call Nick's Barbershop on Washington Street in Dorchester. During the 70's and 80's, he also worked for the MDC. He loved Christmas and was an avid gardener.
