Mrs. Phyllis E. Olson, 87, of 29 Providence Ave., Berlin, passed away on Wednesday May 13, 2009 at the St. Vincent de Paul Rehab and Nursing Center in Berlin. She was born in Colebrook, NH on March 2, 1922 the daughter of Leslie and Grace (Linnell) Turner and lived in Wentworth Location until 1983, when she moved to Berlin.
Members of the family include 1 daughter Leslie Aubin of Berlin, NH; 2 sons Roger Olson of Wayne, ME and Paul Olson of East Swanzey, NH; 9 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; 2 brothers James Turner of Rangeley, ME and Willard Turner of Milan, NH and Florida; 1 sister Lois Hawkins of Milan, NH; nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her husband Ellis “Slim” Olson on December 31, 1990.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday May 16, 2009 at 11 AM at the Bryant Funeral Home, 180 Hillside Avenue, Berlin, NH. Interment will be in the Wentworth Location Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Friday evening from 7 to 9 PM.
