Obituary

William L. Jacobs 89, formerly of Rand St. Warwick, RI died Monday in the Hollidaysburg Veteran's Home, Hollidaysburg, PA. He was the husband of the late Lillian (Schatz) Jacobs. Mr. Jacobs was born in York, PA a son of the late William and Mary (Stabley) Jacobs. He served in the Navy during WWII. Mr. Jacobs was an electronic aircraft instrument mechanic for the Department of Defense, in Quonset for twenty five years, before retiring in 1973.

He is survived by a son, Duane Jacobs of Bedford, PA, a stepdaughter, Joy Smith of Melrose, CO, thirteen grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren. Mr. Jacob was predeceased by a stepson, Walter St. Germain and a grandchild, Kenneth Demers.

A committal service, and burial with Military Honors, will be held Friday at 1:00 PM in St. Charles Cemetery, Farm St. in Blackstone. Arrangements under the directions of the Fournier and Fournier Funeral Home.
