Mrs Laura E.S. Vieira, 80 of Medford formerly of Malden, died on Tuesday in the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. She was the beloved wife of Jose Vieira with whom she shared more than 51 years of marriage. Mrs. Vieira was born in St. Miguel, Portugal the daughter of the late Manuel and Palmira Germano. She will be remembered as a wonderful cook. A family minded woman, who greatly enjoyed dancing and get togethers with her grandchildren. She had also had an affinity for fine gold jewelry. She is survived by four daughters: Maria DaSilva and her husband Frank of Medford, Eduarda DaSilva and her husband Jose of Portugal, Helia Braz of Wilmington and her husband Felisberto and Doria Vieira of Somerville, two sons: Paul Vieira and his wife Marie of Malden and Cesar Vieira and his wife Susan of Somerville. Friends may call on Thursday from 4 thru 8 at Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford. Her Funeral Mass will be held at St. Francis Of Assisi Church, 441 Fellsway West, Medford, Friday at 10:00 am. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
