NICHOLS, GEORGE IRWIN SR., 66, passed away Saturday, May 9, 2009 at Norton Hospital.
He was born in Hartford, CT to Irwin and Elizabeth (White) Nichols.
He was preceded in death by his parents and wife Susan Langdon (January 2009). He was a retired engineer with the Erie Railroad. Survivors include a son, George I. Nichols Jr.; six grandchildren, Christina, Jillian, Chloe, Elijah, Josiah and Dylan; his sister, Peggy Corp; and mother-in-law, Peggy Mills.
Graveside service: 11 a.m. Tuesday at Holy Rosary Cemetery, Manton, KY.
Visitation: Monday, 4 - 9 p.m. at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy.
