MANCHESTER-Normand P. Ouellette, 73, died May 10, 2009 at his home following a short illness.
He was born on May 5, 1936 in Manchester the son of George and Ethel (Pepin) Ouellette and had been a lifelong resident of this city.
He was a graduate of Manchester Central High School class of 1955.
He served his country in the US Marine Corps.
Prior to his retirement in 1995 he had been a switchman with the New England Telephone Co. then later with Verizon.
He enjoyed fishing, golfing and traveling.
In His Life: His family include his wife of 50 years Lillian H. (Duhaime) Ouellette of Manchester, 2 sons Marc K. Ouellette and his wife Donna, Michael K. Ouellette and his wife Marianne, 4 grandchildren, Nicholas. Amanda, Bradley, and Andrew all of Manchester, 1 brother Robert Ouellette of North Carolina, 1 sister Claire Barrett of Lynn MA.. He was predeceased by a brother Gerald Ouellette.
SERVICES:Calling hours will be Tuesday from 4 to 8 PM at the J.N. Boufford & Sons Funeral Home, 110 Bridge St.. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 10 AM in St. Pius X Church. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
