PRINCETON-Paul R. Monahan, 74, of Esty Road, formerly of Worcester died Monday, July 7th at home. He leaves his wife of 47 years, Frances A. (Goodick) Monahan and several nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by 3 brothers, “Little” James, Edward W. and John J. Monahan and 2 sisters, Mary T. Foley and Marguerite Bolivar.
He was born in Worcester, the son of James P. and Marguerite E. (Wade) Monahan where he attended parochial schools and has lived for most of his life before moving to Princeton 20 years ago. Mr. Monahan was a welder for Cincinnati-Milacron Company, formerly Heald Machine Company, for 38 years, retiring in 1989. He formerly was a member of the Shrewsbury Players Guild and enjoyed bowling and fishing.
The funeral will be Friday, July 11th from O’Connor Brothers Funeral Home, 592 Park Avenue, Worcester with a Mass at 11:30 AM in Blessed Sacrament Church, 555 Pleasant Street, Worcester. Burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery, Worcester. Calling hours are Thursday, July 10th from 6:00 until 8:00 PM in the funeral home.
