Mrs. Alice M. (Labranche) Nasise, of Portsmouth, R.I., died Saturday, May 9 at her
residence following a lengthy illness. She was the wife of the late Frank Nasise. She
was born 85 years ago in Taunton, the daughter of the late Joseph and Roseanna
(Phaneuf) Labranche. She was educated in Taunton and had been a Portsmouth resi-
dent for the past 20 years. Prior to her retirement, she had been employed as a kitchen
helper at the Paul A. Dever State School in Taunton for 6 years. Mrs. Nasise enjoyed
boating, sewing and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
She leaves:
1 daughter: Roseanna Tracy of Portsmouth, R.I.
2 grandsons: Joseph and Thomas Tracy both of Portsmouth, R.I.
A granddaughter-in-law: Kim Tracy of Portsmouth, R.I.
1 great grandson: Garin Tracy of Portsmouth, R.I.

Mrs. Nasise was also the mother of the late Joseph Nasise of Taunton, and was the
sister of the late Edward Labranche, Bellerie Cote, Irene Meunier all of Taunton, and
Wilfred Labranche of Hamden, Ct.
Funeral services will be held from The Riendeau-Mulvey Funeral Home, 467 Bay Street,
Taunton, on Wednesday, May 13, at 9:00 A.M. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow in
St. Mary’s Church at 10:00 A.M. Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting Hours will be held on Tuesday, from 5:00 to
