Margaret B. Weatherford, 78, Clarksville, died Saturday, May 9, 2009, at her residence. The funeral will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at Neal-Tarpley Funeral Home with Rev. Lisa Martin officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 4:00 -7:00 p.m. Monday and from 9:00 -11:00 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Neal-Tarpley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. She was born September 26, 1930 to the late B.B. Bailey and and Eunice Allen Bailey. She was preceded in death by her husband Joe Weatherford, Sr. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, John H. Bailey and James R. Bailey. She was retired from the Cumberland Electric Membership Corporation where she served as a Computer Supervisor for thirty-five years. She is survived by a son, Joe Weatherford, Jr. of Delaware, OH. Two daughters; Kathy W. (Don) Parish and Susanne (George) Davis both of Clarksville. Two sister in laws; Jody Kolbe of Marion, TN. and Ruth Weatherford of Adams, TN. Five grandchildren; Melissa Saunders, Amy Butts, Lindsay Davis, Kristin and Megan Weatherford. Two great grandchildren; MacLaine and Oakley Butts. Pallbearers will be Don Parish, George Davis, Chris Butts, Marvin Travis, Larry McGavic and Roy Kolbe Contributions can be made in lieu of flowers to the First United Methodist Church, 909 Madison St. Clarksville, TN 37040.
