Obituary

WORCESTER- Robert J. Annesty, 69, formerly of Florence Street, died Tuesday, July 08 in St. Vincent Hospital at Worcester Medical Center after an illness.

He leaves his wife of 34 years Lorraine M. (Hope) Annesty of Worcester; five sons Robert Turnan of Carver, MA , John Turnan of Worcester; Robert Annesty, Gary Annesty and David Annesty all of Florida; a daughter Nancy Beauregard of Auburn; two sisters Ellen Chroback of Auburn and Patricia Roy of Worcester; 5 grandchildren; 1 great grandson and several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by a son Richard Turnan and a brother George Annesty. Mr. Annesty was born in Worcester son of Frank and Frances (Corcoran) Annesty.

Mr. Annesty was a veteran of the United States Navy.

He was a Machinist for New England Envelope for many years. He also worked at Pennywise Market for many years and was a driver for Yellow Cab Company. He was an avid reader.

A memorial mass will be held on Tuesday, July 15 at 11 AM in St. Peter's Church, 931 Main Street. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association. Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home (www.Royfuneral.com) 12 Hammond Street is directing arrangements.
