Randy Dewayne Williams, 47, of Adel died Friday, May 8, 2009, at Memorial Hospital in Adel. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, May 11, 2009, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals. Rev. Don Williams of Lenox will officiate with burial to follow in Lenox Cemetery. Frienda will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Sunday, May 10, 2009, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Mr. Williams was born on July 4, 1961 in Tift County and was the son of Vernon Williams and Geneva Rentz Williams of Enigma. He was a construction foreman and of the Baptist faith. He was the go-to man, who took pride in his work and could “do it all”. He was a wonderful husband and father with a kind heart and one who did his best to please everyone. His family will not know how to live without him. He was everything to his family and the world to his wife, whom he married on December 11, 1981. He was preceded in death by one sister, Debbie Lynn Kapferer and one brother, Steve Williams.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Teresa Hutchinson Williams of Adel; one son, Randy Duane Williams, Jr. of Adel; one daughter, Brandi Williams Yeomans of Adel; one brother, Terry Williams of Enigma; one sister, Gail Bradley of Irwinville; and three grandchildren, Haley Yeomans, Katelynn Yeomans and Brooke Yeomans, all of Adel.
