ELMER N. ENGSTROM , age 86, a resident of Hingham for over 50 years, died on May 2nd, 2009 at Mass. General Hospital in Boston. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran of World War II and for many years was a management consultant in public administration for Harbridge House of Boston. He was the husband of Lyde (Gallery) Engstrom of Hingham; and father of Susan Robinson of Cambridge and John H. Engstrom of Boston. Grandfather of Liam, Jazmin and Jossy Impastato.
A Memorial Service will be conducted on Saturday, May 16th at 2:30 PM at the Downing Cottage Funeral Chapel, 21 Pond St., Hingham. Visiting hours and flowers omitted by request. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701. The Interment is private.
