Obituary

SUTTON___Jan Wroblewski, 79, of Sutton, died Saturday, May 2, 2009 in his home.

He leaves his wife of 45 years, Krystyna T. (Romanowicz) Wroblewski, two sons, Christopher Wroblewski and his wife Cindy of McKinney, TX., and Wesley Wroblewski and his wife Kara of Worcester; six grandchildren, Matthew, Nicholas, Benjamin and Michael all of McKinney and Kate and Emma both of Worcester; a brother, Richard Wroblewski of Oxford; neices Diana Giorgio and Theresa Collins and nephew Ted Wroblewski. He was predeceased by two brothers, Konstanty and Tadeusz. He was born and raised in Poland, a son of Stanislaw and Wanda (Pieletski) Wroblewski and came to this country in 1965.

Mr. Wroblewski worked for Standard Foundry Co. and retired years ago. Jan was also a self employed painter. He was an active member of Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, Worcester.

The funeral will be held on Thursday, May 7 from HENRY-DIRSA FUNERAL HOME, 33 Ward Street, Worcester, with a Mass at 10:30 a.m. in Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 34 Ward Street, Worcester. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Worcester. Calling hours in the funeral home are Wednesday, May 6 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
