Obituary

Kevin J. Fee, 60, passed away on May 3rd, 2009. He was born in Malden on November 10th, 1948 to his parents James and Dorothy (Howard) Fee. Kevin has been a life-long resident of Malden. He is a graduate of Cheverus Grammar School in Malden, Don Bosco High School in East Boston and Boston College. For many years, he worked for the United States Post Office in South Boston. Kevin was also the former owner and operator of the Rapid Transit Bus Company in Winthrop. He is a former member of the Elks Lodge in Winthrop and the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Malden. Kevin is survived by his wife, Carol (Marek) Fee of Malden; by his children, Kimberly Baker and her husband Edward of North Reading and Christian Fee of South Carolina; by his grandchildren, Payton Conway-Baker, Nolan Baker and Ava Baker; by his siblings, James Fee of Laconia, NH, Susan Candeloro of Malden and Patricia Markham of Brewster; and by his father-in-law, Ben Marek of Everett. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Along with his parents, Kevin was predeceased by his mother-in-law, Evelyn Marek. Relatives & friends are invited to attend his funeral from the Breslin Funeral Home, 610 Pleasant St., Malden on Thursday May 7th at 9 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at Sacred Hearts Church in Malden at 10 AM. Services will conclude with interment in Holy Cross Cemetery in Malden. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday May 6th from 4-8 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Thoracic Oncology Quality of Life Fund, c/o Development Office, 165 Cambridge St., Suite 600, Boston, MA 02114.
