DRACUT, MA - Doris J. (Pelletier) Fontaine, 83, of Dracut, died Friday May 1, 2009 at the Westford House in Westford, MA. Born in Lowell, she was the daughter of the late Arthur Romeo and Yvonne (Pinard) Pelletier.
Mrs. Fontaine was educated in Lowell schools and graduated from Lowell High School. She worked as a bookkeeper for Dusobox for over twenty years until her retirement. In her free time she enjoyed going to the beach and spending time with her grandson, family and close friends.
Mrs. Fontaine is survived by a son Richard R. Fontaine and his wife Linda Clarke-Pounder of Nashua, NH; a daughter Nancy E. Fontaine of Nashua, NH; a grandson Jonathan R. Fontaine of Hudson, NH; two sisters-in-law Mariette Pelletier of Dracut and Pauline Matteau of Lowell; and several godchildren.
Friends may call at the DRACUT FUNERAL HOME, 2159 Lakeview Avenue, DRACUT on Wednesday from 4 until 8 PM. Her funeral service will be held from the funeral home on Thursday at 9 AM, followed by her Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 10 AM at St. Mary Magdalen Church in Dracut.
